Avocado Raita

This cool & refreshing avocado, cucumber and mint raita is a healthy tweak to your regular raita's and a great way to add yogurt to your diet.

Avocado gives this raita a thick & solid base and so, you could even use buttermilk to make this raita. If using yogurt, add required water to thin it out. Use greek yogurt / sour cream to make this raita and voila.. you've just made yourself a creamy & healthy dip for your veggies & chips!!

Serves - about 2 cups

1 large avocado, pitted and completely mashed
1 cucumber, finely chopped / grated
1.5 cups thick buttermilk / yogurt (I used buttermilk)
1/2 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp hing
1/2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
1/2 tbsp finely chopped mint

Whisk everything together until evenly mixed. If required, thin it out by adding more water.

Serve with roti/rice.
