What comes to your mind when you hear the word "milkshake"? For me, milkshake means just two things - "sugar & fat". Milkshakes can be once-in-a-while indulgence for it has an unbelievable amount of sugar & fat from ice-cream which is usually added to the shakes for that sinful, creamy texture.
But, with this recipe, I think I hit the bull's eye! No compromise absolutely on taste (or) texture and very healthy too. By healthy, I don 't mean any kind of substitutes, only natural & perfectly healthy ingredients. And the best part, no one would even guess what's in the milkshake, I bet!

So, are you ready for the secret?! Here you go... while "Over ripe bananas & honey" gives this shake the right amount of sweetness, "almond meal & greek yogurt" gives that "perfectly-perfect" creamy texture.
By bananas I don't mean the regular "yellow" bananas that you get in the store. But, buy them and let them sit in your kitchen counter until they have brown spots. Oh no, not just yet! wait until they turn completely brown with fewer yellow spots. These over ripe bananas are golden, at its peak sweetness, doesn't need even a teaspoon of sugar. But make sure to save them all before your better-half trashes them thinking they are spoilt, just as mine did with the previous batch!
And, what a great substitute "greek yogurt" is for cream; it gives that wonderful luscious texture that anyone would crave for in a milkshake! Last but not the least, crushed oreo cookies adds a nice little crunch and this is one great shake that you would be going back to again & again, I promise!
