Almond-butter & Banana smoothie is one healthy recipe that you can happily add to your breakfast table. Banana, almond butter, almond meal, honey & milk.. I mean can you find a better & healthier combo?! There's nothing in this recipe that you have to worry about skipping/replacing!!
The key to flavorful smoothie depends on how ripe your banana is. Over-ripe bananas are super-sweet & soft, which is why they are perfect for making smoothie like this. I had a couple of completely blackened & ripened bananas, that I peeled, sliced & froze. Fresh / medium-ripe bananas works fine too, but you may have to increase the honey/sugar to sweeten it.
